OVERVIEW:
As workplace environments continue to evolve, there is a growing emphasis on creating spaces that energise teams, reflect brand identity, and support a more engaging day-to-day experience. For global brands such as L’Oréal, this shift is driving the integration of colour, texture, and illumination as key architectural elements rather than surface-level treatments.
As part of an internal refresh and workplace enlivenment initiative, OneFrame was engaged to design, manufacture, and deliver a fully integrated solution utilising ADFRAME and LUCENT systems across the office environment.
The brief required a system that could deliver high-impact visual outcomes while remaining adaptable over time. Leveraging its vertically integrated manufacturing capability, OneFrame produced the complete solution in-house — including aluminium framing systems, LED illumination, and seamless dye-sublimated fabric graphics. This ensured precise colour consistency, high-resolution output, and a refined illuminated finish across all installations.
Rather than relying on traditional wall coverings or fixed graphic applications, the system introduces a dynamic layer to the interior. Fabric skins can be updated quickly and without tools, enabling the visual identity of the space to evolve in line with campaigns, seasonal themes, or internal initiatives — often within minutes and with minimal disruption.
From a specification perspective, the system was engineered for disassembly and flat-pack delivery, supporting efficient installation while also allowing straightforward access to services located behind the framework. This approach addresses ongoing maintenance, future upgrades, and long-term operational flexibility — critical considerations in commercial office environments.
The completed installation highlights how illuminated fabric systems can operate as a core architectural feature. By combining light, materiality, and graphic expression within a single, adaptable platform, the result is a cohesive and future-focused workplace environment that enhances both spatial experience and functional performance.
