The ocean and the life in it face multiple stressors; climate change, pollution, and over-fishing. But it also faces another more pervasive issue – lack of prioritisation, funding and support.
Aotearoa New Zealand has a special role to play as guardian to one of the largest and most significant ocean spaces on the planet. As ocean people we need to step up and act with urgency and decisiveness.
The OneFrame Architectural Fabric Tension System brand is proudly New Zealand. Its environmental stance is grounded in the belief that nobody can do it alone and as such, through our partnership with One Percent for the Planet, we donate a minimum of at least one percent of our annual sales towards environmental causes right here in our own backyard.
As our principal sustainable partner, we aligned ourselves with the team at Live Ocean to help funnel these funds into various programmes that are dear to many of our customers. Outside of this partnership, we have a range of alternate environmental delivery organisations we support, these include both local government initiatives and various non-profit organisations.
We also partner with many of our customers on project-specific initiatives that deliver additional funds to these organisations. As a wider community, we also amplify and promote the great work these organisations do behind the scenes.
