In recent years, incorporating elements of local identity and community pride into workplace and healthcare design has become a growing trend—celebrating regional character, evoking memory, and connecting people to place. Kapiti Hospital embraced this approach by selecting a striking local image and presenting it on a custom Lucent™ Illuminated Fabric Lightbox by OneFrame.

The result is a bold visual feature that brings warmth, vibrancy, and a strong sense of place to the hospital environment. The image—carefully chosen for its local significance—comes to life under the even illumination of the Lucent™ system, delivering rich colour saturation and a high-impact visual that uplifts patients, visitors, and staff alike.

More than just an aesthetic enhancement, Lucent™ is ideally suited for medical and healthcare settings. All fabric graphics are washable, durable, and easily changeable—allowing for future updates without disruption. The system is fully performance-tested and certified, meeting stringent standards for both safety and hygiene, making it a reliable and compliant solution for high-traffic, clinical environments.
