Bringing vibrant expression into the Manukau Chapel, a curated series of works by local artist LucyG was introduced to infuse colour and ambiance into the predominantly timber interior.
To realise this vision, the AdFrame™ fabric tension system was selected as the ideal medium for showcasing these artworks in grand format. The system enabled seamless, high-resolution reproductions of LucyG’s pieces, strategically installed throughout the chapel to enhance the spatial experience without altering the architectural integrity.
The vivid colour reproduction and soft luminance achieved through the fabric created a striking visual effect—echoing the aesthetic of traditional stained glass while offering a contemporary interpretation. The result is a harmonious blend of art, architecture, and atmosphere—transforming the space into a more inviting and contemplative environment that celebrates both community and creativity.
